Detective Sergeant Vern Crowley, OPP Cybercrime Investigations Team
A 29-year member of the OPP, Detective Sergeant Crowley holds numerous Computer Forensic and Security Certifications. In 1990, he started on the road in Lindsay, and in 1997 was promoted to Detective Sergeant in the OPP Anti-Rackets Section (Commercial Frauds) based out of General Head Quarters in Orillia. In 2000, he started the newly formed E-Crime Team as a Senior Investigator – Forensic Examiner (extracting digital evidence from computers.) In 2015, he was assigned to the OPP Cyber Strategy to develop recommendations to reposition the organization to deal with Digital Evidence. Since 2017, he has been the Team Leader of the newly formed Cybercrime Investigations Team – investigating hacking and data breach incidents.

Brendan Quigley, Marketing Technologist, acorn30
With a joint major from Trent University in Geography and Spanish, Brendan has focused experience and knowledge in Geographical Information Systems (GIS). An accomplished web designer, Brendan leads acorn30’s development team; offering an ability to provide creative solutions to meet the needs of clients with experience in both private and public sector. Brendan conceptualizes and oversees all major digital projects. He brings his development experience and technical knowledge ranging from WordPress site development, CSS, HTML5 and MySQL implementations.  He is responsible for managing any digital assets relating to a project.

Lisa Callaghan, Financial Services Representative, CIBC Lakefield
Lisa Callaghan is a Financial Services Representative with CIBC in Lakefield. She is a Digital Advocate with CIBC, providing input to enhance online bank services and educating staff and clients on existing features. Previous to CIBC, Lisa worked for eSolutionsGroup as a Project Co-ordinator on municipal websites; which gave her a behind the scenes look at cyber security. Lisa is passionate about digital banking and helping those who don’t consider themselves “techies” to feel secure.
