Great news, Santa is coming to town in the afternoon of Saturday, November 28! After lots of planning, Santa has been able to find time from last minute toy production to visit Apsley for his annual visit to meet the kids, young and old. Because of restrictions, there will not be a parade nor community children’s party at NKCC this year. Instead, Santa will greet children and parents in a drive thru format at Lions Park.
Cars are to enter Lions Park , starting at 2pm and not later than 4pm, via the Home Hardware driveway off of MacFadden Road and follow Lions directing traffic to pass in front of the food booth and portables to see Santa. Lions will control traffic flow to allow each car to see Santa and receive gifts. Because of COVID-19 restrictions, please stay in your vehicle. Exit from the park will be through the site of the former portable school and onto MacFadden Road. Santa knows these are challenging times and hopes that with everyone’s support this can be a fun and safe afternoon.
