Update: Due to extreme heat warnings in place for July 1, the program has been revised for the Historic Dominion Day Event. The Official Ceremonies have been condensed and no longer include a skirmish. There will be a musket firing demonstration and competition in lieu, and all other re-enactor activities. Demonstrations and displays will take place in the Great Hall of the Peterborough County Agriculture Heritage Building, which is air-conditioned. Also due to safety concerns for the horses, we will be offering tractor and wagon rides instead of horse-drawn wagon rides.
